From 11th to 17th of May in Krzyżowa there is another Exchange of Expertise project. Participants were divided into four thematic groups, which deal with: work in wood, work in the garden, culinary workshops and photojournalism workshops. The carpentry group will deal with, among other things, making beehives at the House on the Hill, which will refer to those that stood there at the beginning of the 20th century. Freya von Moltke kept in beehives letters from her husband, Helmuth James, so that they would not fall into the wrong hands.

Exchange of Expertise is an international workshop with the participation of young people from Poland and Germany. Their aim is intercultural integration. What distinguishes him from other projects is the fact that integration, dialogue and mutual acquaintance are realized in practical classes, during which professional skills of the participants are used.

Some participants of the exchange had practical professional skills, such as e.g. a locksmith, carpenter, cook.

The project Exchange of Expertise received the Youth Prize 2006 "YouthCo-responsibleYouth" presented by the Polish-German Youth Cooperation. In 2007, the Robert Bosch Foundation, within the framework of the "Junge Wege in Europe" programme, awarded the "Professional exchange" as one of ten cross-border examples of excellent and fruitful cooperation.

The project is organised by the Kreisau-Initiative Association and the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe is a partner.
