During a school exchange between Częstochowa and Ludwigshafen, young people took part in workshops on identity, overcoming stereotypes and reconciliation after the Second World War.

In a special question and answer session called "Everything you would like to know about Poland and Germany but haven't had a chance to ask", questions were asked about the school system, favourite foods or contemporary social challenges such as racism.

The Polish-German group visited the Książ castle and its underground, and in Wrocław they pursued their own photographic projects related to the history, culture and everyday life of the city's inhabitants. We would like to thank the teaching staff from Częstochowa and Ludwigshafen for their many years of cooperation and commitment, and would like to invite you back!

The project lasted from 13-17 February 2023 and was co-financed by the Polish-German Youth Office.

Project coordination: Agnieszka Żegańska
Project leading: Jolanta Steciuk, Sarah Schumayer
