DIGITAL MENTORING - A NEW DIMENSION FOR LEARNING. METHODIC GUIDE on Digital Mentoring

The publication is the result of the grant project "Digital mentoring - a new dimension of teaching" co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund. The authors of the guide are: Michael Hallissy, John Hurley, Maria Fojk, Karolina Wójcik, Iwona Machoń - Pluszczewska and Jolanta Kolinko - an Irish-Polish team of experts from H2 Learning Ltd. and the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe.
The paper consists of six chapters:
- The first chapter provides a description of the TELMS tool and its application practice in Ireland, highlights the implementation of the TELMS project by the Irish partner H2 Learning and partners from Ireland, Slovenia, Northern Ireland and Italy. The chapter also includes a link to an animated film showing the stages of the digital mentoring process.
- Chapter Two describes the methods and applications of Digital Mentoring.
- Chapter Three shows how MMC (Digital Mentoring Method) can be applied in Polish schools and provides practical guidance on how to implement the method.
- The fourth chapter deals with the application of MMC during distance learning. It presents guidelines for applying the method on the basis of a pilot study and proposes an e-library for digital mentoring.
- The fifth chapter contains recommendations and conclusions concerning the implementation of the digital mentoring method in Polish schools.
- Chapter six shows how the mentoring process can be documented and presents the documentation used during the piloting and implementation of the MMC.

The grant project entitled: "Digital mentoring - a new dimension of teaching" (MSWO-3-2019-100) was implemented within the project of Grupa Profesja Sp. z o.o. entitled: "International cooperation pays off". Grants for transnational cooperation component for beneficiaries of standard projects implemented within the scope of thematic objectives 8-11 co-financed from ESF under PO WER or ROP in the financial perspective 2014- 2020", implemented under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.
