The “Krzyżowa” Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe together with its partners, Kreisau-Initiative e.V. Association and Center for International Studies from Minsk (Belarus) received a prize from Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility, Future",program EUROPEANS FOR PEACE 2010/2011.Foundation awarded a prize for the project “Spotlight on Human Rights- Young journalists on tour in Belarus, Germany and Poland”. Awards ceremony was held on 14th December 2011 in Berlin in Kalkscheune. The jury appreciated cross-border projects, which deal with issues of human rights in the historical and contemporary context. Apart from “Krzyżowa” Foundation and its partners, prize winners were also: Internationaler Bund e.V. Association from Stuttgart (Germany) and Russian-German House from Tomsk (Russia), School Aloys-Fischer-Schule from Deggendorf (Germany), IV High School from Zagreb (Croatia) and Conduco e.V. Association from Dresden (Germany) together with its partner Special Educational Centre no. 1 in Suwałki.

Project “Spotlight on Human Rights- Young journalists on their way in Belarus, Germany and Poland” is a journey of young participants from three countries through their homelands, where they concentrate on issues of human rights in terms of journalism. Participants carry out interviews with their peers, and then publish them on a specially prepared blog. The information booklet contains reports and pictures from travel. They are also presented at the traveling exhibition.
