At the end of January we started the third module of the project "Our common world - global education of children", co-financed by the Polish Cooperation Programme of The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This year's and last edition of the three-year project includes:

• training for teachers of early childhood education - recruitment completed,
• training for primary school teachers - open recruitment,
• training for advanced influenza, which has already completed basic training in global education - open recruitment,
• training for students of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Warsaw - recruitment completed
  
  The aim of the first training block called "Global Education Content and Ethics", which took place on 30.01-01.02.2020, was:
• to acquaint the participants with the issues of global education and ways of its implementation in Poland,
• reflecting on the ethics of global education in accordance with the Code on Images and News for the countries of the South,
• reflecting on one's own attitudes and motivation to implement EG in working with children.

Das NETTZ - Die Vernetzungsstelle gegen Hate Speech writes about the project "Creating Space: A Digital Future with Ethics in Mind Training for multipliers* of formal and non-formal educational work", which took place in December 2019 in Kreisau. The seminar was attended by educators from Germany, Poland and Ukraine.

Project "Creating Space: A Digital Future with Ethics in Mind" won the NETTZ-Förderpreis 2019.

In an interview Charlotte Lohmann ( educational specialist IJBS Stiftung Kreisau) tells us what it is all about.

From 16 to 17 January the educational teams of the Kreisau Initiative and the Kreisau Foundation for European Understanding met in Kreisau/Krzyżowa. The aim of the meeting was to develop concrete strategies for cooperation in 2020 and the future.

In addition, concrete projects were discussed, activities and goals and new projects were presented. At the same time, there were a training session for employees on the concept of "taking care of yourself, paying attention to balance at work".

What is it about?

The project “#weneedtotalk Barcamp: Education in a digitalized world!” addresses multipliers from the field of non-formal education, from German-Polish relations, and from the civic tech sector.

The aim of the project is joint discussion and getting to know digital tools for the field of historical-political education. This project aims for a successful knowledge transfer and gaining experience on the topic of digital methods in historical-political education.

Together participants will explore questions like: What new paths can historical-political education go in the German-Polish context? How can digitalisation help us to make this field even more innovative and inclusive?

Everybody can get involved, present ideas, and benefit from the knowledge of others. The focus is on getting to know each other, network and learn from others.
