The Krzyżowa Foundation during the 2014-2020 programming period of the European Union actively participated in applying for funds for the implementation of educational projects addressed to students and teachers of primary and secondary schools in the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship.

In total, 19 projects were undertaken under the ROP WD 2014-2020 measures 10.4 and 10.2, including 15 projects in which the Foundation acted as a leader and 4 projects in which the Foundation acted as a partner. Some of these projects are in progress and will be continued for the next three years, until 2023. The total value of all projects is nearly PLN 35 million. The support area covers the following poviats: świdnicki, wałbrzyski, dzierżoniowski, kłodzki, ząbkowicki, kamiennogórski, oleśnicki.

It is with great pride and joy that we announce that our Foundation is on the ranking list of the grant competition "Pathways of cooperation - support for entities implementing international cooperation" as part of the action: 4.3 Transnational cooperation, axis IV. Social innovations and transnational cooperation agreement no. UDA-POWR.04.03.00-00-0096/17-00.

We won the second place in Poland with a score of 40.5 points, the best application received 41 points, and in order to obtain recommendations for project financing the applicant had to gain 20 points.

The "Krzyżowa" Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe submitted the application for co-financing of the project entitled:  “ARTaTOOL - Artistic activities as a tool for pupils to develop their creativity, digital competence, mathematical and science skills”

The Innovation and Development Office of the "Krzyżowa" Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe is very busy: the office team prepares payment applications and proceedings for projects implemented under the European Social Fund, prepares recovery plans for activities that cannot be carried out now due to the pandemic, maintains constant contact with the Marshal's Office and the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy and with transnational partners of our projects from Denmark, Ireland and Germany.

On 25 April 2019 a conference opening this year's edition of the project "Tradition unites generations" took place in Krzyżowa. It was informative, funny, and sometimes also moving.

This first meeting with the participants was to a large extent informative and organizational, but also created an opportunity to get to know the Organizers and Seniors participating in the project.

The conference also included a lecture by Dr. Tomasz Skonieczny (European Academy of the "Krzyżowa" Foundation), thanks to which the participants deepened their knowledge about the history of Krzyżowa. There was also a meeting with a representative of the Police and a lawyer - it provided the Seniors with important information on how to effectively take care of their safety.

For the needs of the project, a subpage has been launched, on which up-to-date information and announcements concerning the implemented and planned activities will be posted on a regular basis.
