On 25-29 May we hosted a group of young people from Piotrków Trybunalski and Hildesheim in Krzyżowa. Once again schools came to the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa. This year, the schools came in a smaller group of thirty students.
During the project, young people learned about the history of the Kreisau Circle, learned from each other and learned their languages through language animations. Students also worked in smaller groups. They learned how to cooperate with each other, but also how they influence, through their behaviour, what happens in other regions of the world (elements of global education).
Schools that participate in the project: St. - Augustinus - Schule from Hildesheim and from the Secondary School Complex No. 1 in Piotrków Trybunalski.
From 11th to 17th of May in Krzyżowa there is another Exchange of Expertise project. Participants were divided into four thematic groups, which deal with: work in wood, work in the garden, culinary workshops and photojournalism workshops. The carpentry group will deal with, among other things, making beehives at the House on the Hill, which will refer to those that stood there at the beginning of the 20th century. Freya von Moltke kept in beehives letters from her husband, Helmuth James, so that they would not fall into the wrong hands.
Exchange of Expertise is an international workshop with the participation of young people from Poland and Germany. Their aim is intercultural integration. What distinguishes him from other projects is the fact that integration, dialogue and mutual acquaintance are realized in practical classes, during which professional skills of the participants are used.

is a project for high-school students from Poland, Croatia and Germany on the role of women in the past and present.
During the project young people throw light on the topic of the secondariness of women’s role in post-war historiography. The example of women in resistance movements against National-Socialism during the Second World War lends a good starting point for such investigations. The participants get familiar with the biographies, letters and memories of the female members of resistance groups and this way will learn more about the inhuman Nazi regime. Interviews with women who were part of resistance during the Second World War or female relatives as well as with women who are active in resistance nowadays help deepen the knowledge about the lives of these women. Furthermore, the students critically examine the role of women in their national historiographies, as well as how and in which situations women experience discrimination nowadays. The young participants will get familiar with filming and interviewing during a film and interview training. They produce their own short movies that will help them to deepen the newly gained knowledge and present it to a broad audience.
