Krzyżowa for Ukraine, active first week of holidays!

Almost four months have passed since the moment when the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe was qualified by the voivode of Lower Silesia and the municipality of Świdnica as an ad hoc accommodation for refugees from Ukraine. Since then, nearly 100 people from Ukraine have been staying in our center, more than half of whom are children. For families who have escaped from the war, we provide safe shelter, while organizing the possibility of education, development and active spending of free time.

We try to professionally activate our adult guests from Ukraine. Among other things, by organizing language courses, supporting in job search and providing assistance of specialists in this field. Therefore, this week, the first meeting with a specialist in professional activation took place. The aim of the training is to present ways of self-presentation and how and where to actively look for a job. At the same time, our little guests from Ukraine, preschoolers from the Green Land and children staying in Krzyżowa visited clowns from the Red Noses Clowndoctors, who are currently hosting our center. In accordance with the mission of the Red Noses Clowndoctors, clowns brought humor and laughter to people in need of joy! THANK YOU!
